Warranty Policy

KeySmart offers a 1-year limited warranty for all KeySmart products. This warranty covers manufacturing or workmanship defects but does not cover damages that may have resulted from normal wear and tear, misuse/abuse, or modification of the product.

What is Not Covered Under Warranty

Damages to KeySmart products that might have resulted from normal wear and tear, removal or installation, misuse or abuse, or modification are not covered under KeySmart’s warranty. KeySmart will not be liable for any damages that may result from the use of any KeySmart product. The warranty does not cover the repair or replacement of property such as electronic devices and/or other personal property.

How To Claim Your Warranty

If your KeySmart product is defective, we will help you to exchange it for a brand new replacement. We cannot guarantee that the exact product or style for your claim will be in stock at the time that your warranty claim is processed. In this case, we will offer a similar item or store credit rather than a replacement. The store credit never expires and is valid on any products sold by KeySmart.

To claim your warranty replacement please email customersupport@curvgroup.com with:

  • Proof of purchase from KeySmart or an authorized KeySmart reseller
  • Pictures of the broken product
  • A brief description of how the product broke. This information helps us to keep improving the design of our products.

Refunds

If you purchased your product from getkeysmart.com less than 30 days ago, you may request a refund for your warranty claim instead of a new replacement or store credit. The item must be in working condition and undamaged. See details below regarding the return of Tile™ enabled products.

If you purchased your product from an authorized KeySmart reseller, attempt to return the product to the authorized reseller. If that is not possible, contact us at customersupport@curvgroup.com with proof of purchase and an explanation of why the product could not be returned and we will work with you on a solution.

We cannot issue a refund for warranty claims past the 30-day return period. Please note that a picture or video of the defect that you are experiencing is required in order to process a return.

After your return is approved, a refund will be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within a week.

Sale Items

If approved, sale items will be refunded at the sale price.

Tile™ Enabled Product Restocking Fee

If you decide to return a product that contains Tile™ technology after linking it to your phone, we will deduct 15% from your purchase as restocking fee. After you sync the unit to your phone we are unable to resell the unit because impossible to unlink from your Tile™ account.

Customs Fees

Customs fees are subject to the buyer. We will not be able to assist with customs fees. Please check with your customs department prior to purchasing for additional information.
